Homework club continues on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45-4:00 in room 245. Teachers, paraeducators and peer tutors will be onsite and available to help you catch up, get ahead or answer your questions. If your student needs to be picked up early, please contact the attendance office to notify the attendance secretary (firstname.lastname@example.org) If no advanced notice is received, your student will be asked to remain until 4:00 PM. Transportation will be provided. Buses will depart from the front bus loop at 4:10 and drop off at several convenient locations, including Ballinger home, Polaris apartments, and Brookside, Lake Forest Park, and Ridgecrest Elementary Schools.
Are you looking for something creative and different to do? Then join us Saturday, February 2, from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM for Coffee, Cocoa and Cards. In this workshop, we will be making cards by printmaking. You will have the option to design and print your own cards, or to use our premade printing blocks. This is a great activity for families, and an opportunity to create Valentines or other unique artworks. No experience necessary. This workshop is located at Shorecrest HS in T113 in the Fine Arts building. It is open to ages 8 years old and older. Students 8 -10 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Fee is $30 for individuals, and $25 per person for groups of 2 or more. Registration is limited so don’t delay.
