Join us Thursday, December 6 and Thursday, December 13, from 3:00 - 4:30 PM for A SEASON OF CERAMICS. The workshop is conveniently located here at Shorecrest in the T110 ceramics room in the Fine Arts building at the north end of campus. You will create several ceramic pieces with a seasonal theme over two 1.5hr sessions. One session for making your pieces and the other session is for glazing. It is open to students, staff and family members high school age and older. Registration is limited so don’t delay. Homework club continues on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45-4:00 in room 245. Teachers, paraeducators and peer tutors will be onsite and available to help you catch up, get ahead or answer your questions. Transportation will be provided. Buses will depart from the front bus loop at 4:10 and drop off at several convenient locations, including Ballinger home, Polaris apartments, and Brookside, Lake Forest Park, and Ridgecrest Elementary Schools.

‘Tis the season for Spree Trees! Get your fresh and fragrant Christmas trees, garlands and wreaths and support the class of 2019 Senior Spree at the same time! Volunteers will be on hand to help you load up your purchases Nov. 30-Dec. 2 at Loyal Automotive lot on 175th Street. Speaking of volunteers, we need you, seniors and senior parents! Angel Funds Needed! Every year, the Shorecrest kitchen provides emergency meals for kids that are waiting for approval on free/reduced lunch applications or are experiencing unexpected circumstances. Funds are getting dangerously low! Shorecrest would gratefully accept your donations to help us provide meals for hungry kids. If you can help, the Shorecrest kitchen accepts cash or check. If a credit card payment is better for you, please call the central kitchen at 206-393-4209 and someone will be happy to assist you. Thank you, angels!
