Einstein Tigers: Are you interested in social justice? Join other Shoreline students at the fourth annual SEED Conference on Monday, March 2nd. SEED stands for Seeing Everyone Equally and Distinctively and the conference will focus on topics such as empowering youth to use their voices, knowing your rights, and dealing with conflict in divisive times. If you’re interested, sign up in the main office and pick up a permission slip. Permission slips must be turned in by February 27th. Talk to your counselor, any administrator, Mr. Guthrie or Mrs. McClellan with questions. Space is limited so sign up now! A lottery system will be used if we have too many students sign up.
7th Graders:Today your WEB leaders will be coming into your PRIDE class for a fun game to celebrate Valentine’s Day and Mid-Winter Break! Please welcome them with kindness and enthusiasm. Go Tigers!
There will be no Wrestling or Girls Basketball practice today.
Attention 8th Grade Students! If you received a letter or email about the College Bound Scholarship, PLEASE return your form to the Counseling Office as soon as you can!
DON’T WAIT DON’T HESITATE: Yearbook sales are now open through February 21st. This will be the last sales window until the end of the year when we cannot guarantee there will be any books left. The Yearbook club is working each week on a hard cover, all color book that captures our classes, clubs, sports and activities for your Middle School memories and autographs! Books are available to purchase online at https://wa-shoreline.intouchreceipting.com/ or in the main office before school or at lunch. Cash or check in the office. If you have already purchased your ASB card the yearbook is $25. Without an ASB card they are $30.
Summer opportunities are here! Are you 14 years old or will you be by June 29th? The Ecology Youth Corps is looking for students who are interested in helping clean up the environment and earn money doing it! Students can apply to work one of two summer sessions and earn around $1700! Applications are due April 10th and need a teacher reference. You can pick up an application today from the counseling office!
