Kumon goes beyond tutoring. Instead, children actively develop critical thinking skills while progressing independently through a carefully crafted Kumon curriculum.

The Kumon Math and Reading programs cover everything from counting to calculus, and phonics to Shakespeare. The worksheets enable children to learn new concepts on their own.

Kumon programs allow students to progress one small step at a time through daily practice. Kumon helps children:

• Foster a love of learning

• Progress at their own pace

• Develop good study habits and self-learning ability

Job Requirements

GPA 3.5+

Possible job duties (Partial or all)

1. Grade and record classwork and homework for students for math and reading subjects

2. Prepare students’ class materials

3. Guide and help students during class after Kumon training

4. Help with early learner students and prime learner students after Kumon training

Working Hours

Wed: 2:30pm to 6:30pm
Sat: 10:00am to 2:00pm

Other hours may be added if the assistants are flexible

Base salary: $14.00/hr

The hourly pay will increase as the assistants gain more skills and experience.
