Green Shoreline Work Parties in Local Parks

See for upcoming dates & locations

Note that only some of the work parties are open to teens, and teens who volunteer MUST come to the event with a Green Shoreline Youth Release Waiver form completely filled out.

Even if the event says you can just show up, we strongly recommend signing up and contacting the supervisor to confirm the event.

When you go, wear clothes that can get dirty, dress in layers and be ready for rain, take a water bottle. If you have work gloves, those may help. Take a mask to be ready for any Covid protocols.

Upcoming fall events (more may be posted; check the link above):

Most Saturdays @ Twin Ponds:  9/4, 9/11, 9/18,   9/25, 10/2, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20, 12/4, 12/11

The Green Shoreline Partnership is a unique public/private partnership between the City of Shoreline, Forterra, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, local businesses, and the Shoreline community at large that builds upon existing forest restoration efforts to establish a city-wide community-based stewardship program to support long-term restoration and maintenance of Shoreline’s parks and natural areas. Green Shoreline has the goal to restore 240 acres of Shoreline’s forested parks and natural areas by 2039.

The Green Shoreline Partnership works to: improve the quality of life, connections to nature, and enhance forest benefits for Shoreline’s residents; galvanize an informed and active community of stewards; and ensure long-term sustainable funding and community support of forest restoration efforts.
