Educational Effectiveness Survey Presentations on Jan. 30 & 31

Shoreline Public Schools will host two community meetings to present the results of district-wide family, staff and student surveys that were conducted in the fall. The meetings will be held on January 30 at 7 pm and January 31 at 10 am. Both meetings will be held in the Shoreline Center Board Room, 18560 1st Ave. NE.

Superintendent Rebecca Miner and staff will present the district-wide data from the Educational Effectiveness Survey that families, staff and 4th-12th grade students participated in this past October. The surveys conducted by the Center for Educational Effectiveness measured perceptual data focused on the research-based Nine Characteristics of High Performing Schools.

Additionally, each of our schools is in the process of scheduling their own meetings to present their school-specific data. The district presentation on January 30 and 31 will cover the combined results of all schools.

The survey data will be used to support the development and implementation of school improvement plans and school district priorities. The presentations will provide an overview of the survey data and how that information will be used to support continued student and staff success. There will also be an opportunity for questions, answers and discussion.

We hope that you will join us as we begin using this valuable data to improve outcomes for all students.
