Syre PTA Nominating Committee is Seeking Nominations!

The Syre PTA Nominating Committee is looking for your nominations for the upcoming open Co-President (2-year) position on the PTA Executive Board of Directors. If you or someone you know would be a great fit for this opportunity, please submit a nomination! Keep an eye out in kid-mail next week and your email (for PTA members) for more details on the position and for the nomination form. The nomination deadline is Friday 3/20.

To be considered as a Co-President nominee, the nominee must be a PTA member at least fifteen days prior to the election (which will occur on 4/14), must comply with the standing rules of the Syre PTA and must have served for one year on a standing or ad-hoc committee.

Syre STEM Night is Coming!

Syre Family Engineering Night is coming on Thursday, April 2 from 6:30 -8:00pm.  Parents will engage with activities alongside students. This teamwork of families is necessary for the success of the activities.  Adults, be ready to build and explore this night!

Cougar Mountain Cookie Dough Pick-Up

Please be sure to pick up your Cougar Mountain Cookie Dough on Thursday, March 12th, in the south parking lot betwee​​​​n 3:00 and 5:00. If you would like your student to bring home your order please have them pick it up on their way out at 3:30. Please note that we do not have a refrigerator to store the cookie dough so it must be picked up at this time. 

We are looking for volunteers to help unload and distribute the tubs of dough. Please use this link to sign-up:

Syre Item of the Month

Greetings amazing Syre families! For the rest of this school year we will be collecting different items each month that are needed for the Back to School Event that is held each summer.

WHAT IS THE BACK TO SCHOOL EVENT?! The Back to School event is a community effort that provides school supplies, hair cuts, and clothing assistance for families in the Shoreline School District who are living with a low income and/or experiencing circumstances in their life that make it challenging to prepare their children for going back to school in the fall. Items may be put in the labeled bin located inside the front doors of the school by the showcase.
