Cheetah Reader Book Bags - Thank You, Shoreline Foundation
An Enormous Shout Out to the Shoreline Public Schools Foundation!
Kindergarten and First Grade Cheetah Reader Book Bags
Thanks to a generous grant from the Shoreline Public Schools Foundation, Annie Gage, family advocate, Mollie Merkley, reading specialist, and Jenny Hillger, librarian, were able to provide a fun Cheetah Reader Book Bag to every Meridian Park kindergartener and first grader. Each bag was filled fiction and informational nonfiction titles including Elephant and Piggie, Pigeon, Narwhal and Jelly, and Mother Bruce, as well as Who Would Win? and National Geographic for Kids. The bags, which also contained notepads and pencils, are our way of welcoming our newest and youngest cheetahs to the Meridian Park family. We hope everyone enjoyed reading their new books.
We had a great time passing out bags to our kindergarten and first grade cheetahs and their families during Curbside Pick Up on Wednesday, January 27th.
This fun and exciting project was made completely possible by the Shoreline Foundation.
