On Wednesdays, the asynchronous time will include the following.
Time for students to finish work that has not been completed
Time for students to practice skills (e.g., independent reading, writing journal, handwriting practice, play). Time to engage in Library, PE, or Music lessons from across the week.
Teachers will share with students the choices to consider and work to be completed.
There will be no new lessons during that time.
Support Program Services (LAP, MLL, Resource Room) can happen during synchronous and asynchronous time blocks. Support Program Staff will communicate directly with families if a student will attend a small group during the asynchronous time block.
