  • STATE TESTING AT SW IN MAY AND JUNE

Shorewood’s schedule will be altered on May 22, 23 and 24 and June 6 and 7 to administer state testing. This link provides the following charts: 2017 State Testing Graduation Requirements in Shoreline Schools and the Spring 2017 State Testing Schedule. School buses will run on the regular schedule. Students who arrive to school at the regularly scheduled time may study quietly in the library. Students who are not testing and plan to arrive in time for period 1 or 2 need to provide their own transportation. *Grade 9 students will not test during any of these days unless enrolled in Biology and then will test on June 7th. Most grade 9 students should plan to take the English/Language Arts Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) and Biology End-of-Course Exam (EOC) in grade 10. They will take the Smarter Balanced Math test in grade 11.
