We hope you are as excited about joining the SC Football Family as we are. Below you will find information on our upcoming Spring OTA’s and June Team camp. We are expecting great things this coming season, but those will only come with hard work and dedication – starting NOW. Beginning on May 29th, you are officially a Shorecrest Football player! Team practices and trainings taking place through the end of June, are for all 2019 players. Please take a few minutes to go over the following information and the time schedule for our spring drills and Team Camp. Go SCOTS!

    Spring Drills: May 29th - June 18th (See Calendar)

    UW 7 on 7 Passing Camp – June 9th (Varsity Players only)

    11-ON Varsity Team Day Camp  - June 15th  (V-MAC)

    SC TEAM CAMP: June 24th – 28th (All Players)



    All players must complete an athletic packet and have a current physical turned in to the building Athletic Director, Alan Bruns, prior to taking part in any contact drills. *Players are required to do this for spring drills. You will NOT need to do this again in the fall. Forms are located in the locker room or in the attendance office at SC. Copies will also be available in the main office of Kellogg MS for incoming freshman. We highly recommend updating your physical this spring, as they will be good for 24 months & eliminate the need to get one at the start of the season in August.


    Please check the "June Calendar" for dates and times of team trainings and practices. This is open to all 2019 SC Students (and current 8th Graders attending SC next fall) who plan to play football next season.  **Note for 8th Graders:  Please come up to the SC Gym lockerroom after school is released. We will issue you a locker to be used for the spring and fall seasons. Current 8th graders will practice/train with the team from approx. 3:15-5:00pm on the days listed on the June calendar.

    Summer Training

    We are currently working on finalizing summer lifting sessions and times. The summer weightroom and training schedule will be given to players in our final week of spring ball.


    SC TEAM CAMP (6/24 – 6/28)

    This year we have decided to run our own version of a “Team Camp”. This will only cost players $50 – forms will be available May 28th for sign-up. We will have 2 days of practices and team activities, a team dinner, and 3 days of LIVE scrimmages at King’s High School on 6/26 -6/28. The scrimmage schedule has not been set, however we are guaranteed 2-3 scrimmages per day and should see multiple teams. We anticipate having 3 separate levels (Varsity / JV / C-Team) for the competitions, assuming our numbers warrant them. Cost of the camp also includes a team player pack (shorts & t-shirt).
