About Our School

  • Mission Statement: Ridgecrest is a welcoming and supportive community where all are empowered to think critically, show compassion, and create change.

Ridgecrest Elementary, located in the east central portion of the Shoreline School District, has an enrollment of approximately 600 students in grades K-6.

The school, which opened in 1948, was the first constructed by the then newly formed school district. An extensive remodel of the school in 1992 included the construction of a computer lab and gym and expanded library facilities.

The tight-knit Ridgecrest community strongly supports its school and students with active PTA participation and by helping with the school’s after school clubs and activities.
