  • Kindergarten Lottery Drawings Set for March 27

    Kindergarten lottery drawings at all Shoreline elementary schools are scheduled for March 27. All incoming kindergarten students who were registered by the February 28 open enrollment deadline will be entered into the drawing at their neighborhood or selected magnet program (Cascade K-8).

  • Read 4 Adventure

    High Trek Adventures is teaming up with Ridgecrest Elementary to encourage our youth to develop strong reading habits as well as experience outdoor adventure in the PNW. BETWEEN MARCH 10th & APRIL 9th, students who achieve the reading goal of 8 hours of recreational reading will earn their choice of a Ropes Course or Laser Tag Adventure ( valued up to $40). About Our School

  • Mission Statement: Ridgecrest is a welcoming and supportive community where all are empowered to think critically, show compassion, and create change.

    Ridgecrest Elementary, located in the east central portion of the Shoreline School District, has an enrollment of approximately 600 students in grades K-6.

    The school, which opened in 1948, was the first constructed by the then newly formed school district. An extensive remodel of the school in 1992 included the construction of a computer lab and gym and expanded library facilities.

    The tight-knit Ridgecrest community strongly supports its school and students with active PTA participation and by helping with the school’s after school clubs and activities.
