A Note to Our Valuable Vendors:
Creating and retaining strong partnerships with our vendors is critical for us in order to continue to provide high quality education for our students. Our Accounting and Purchasing teams are working diligently to continue timely processing of invoices and payments. However, due to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic “shelter in place” directives confronting all of us, potentially the Shoreline School District may have delays in that process. We appreciate your understanding.

The State of Washington delegates purchasing authority to the Shoreline School District Board of Directors. The School Board delegates purchasing authority to specific positions within the district. Given that authority, we have been entrusted as a steward of the public trust and their money to manage public funds in a responsible manner, manage risk, minimize liability, and provide for accountability.
