Shorecrest Girl's Basketball: Varsity, JV, and Freshmen
2018-'19 tryouts run Monday, November 12 - Wednesday, November 14, 2018
Athletic Participation Permission form deadline: Friday, November 9th (Don't wait until the last minute.)
Last year, first year coach Carlos Humphrey and the Shorecrest girl's varsity basketball team made it back to the State Tournament and ended the season ranked 13th in the State with a 17-8 record.
With a focus on putting the team first, this year's girls will work together to try and make it back to State - only this time to the final game.
If you're a Shorecrest girl interested in being part of the team, please join us for what should be an exciting year of basketball.
Fall practices for Shorecrest girls run every Tuesday and Thursday, from 7-8:30pm, and Saturday, from 9-11am, in the Shorecrest gym.
Girl's tryouts will run from Monday, Nov 12, through Wednesday, Nov 14, from 5-7pm, in the Shorecrest gym. (Monday is a school holiday, but there will still be tryouts on Monday night.) Girls will be notified of their status at the end of Wednesday's tryouts. Practice will begin on Thursday, Nov 15.
To sign up for basketball tryouts, please submit your Athletic Participation Permission form to Mr. Bruns, our Athletic Director. The Athletic Participation Permission form is available in the front office or at the window in front of Mr. Brun's office.
