    Aug. 1, 2019: Common Application opens at www.commonapp.org

    Sept. 1, 2019: Coalition Application (including UW Seattle and UW Bothell) opens at http://www.coalitionforcollegeaccess.org/

    Sept. 24/Tuesday - College Kickoff featuring Panel of College representatives with tips about writing personal statement (6-7:25 p.m. in library; $15 fundraiser); and tips on how to apply using Naviance tools for transcripts and letters of recommendation (7:30-8:15 p.m.)

    Oct. 10/Thursday - King Country Construction/Apprenticeship field trip: Free, all-day at Sand Point's Magnuson Park. (see Ms. Monson for forms)

    Oct. 22/Tuesday - Three-in-One event featuring Personal Statement/Essay Reading (pre-register in counseling office for $15 fundraiser; 3:30-5:30 p.m.); FAFSA/WASFA free financial aid help night and College Fair in the Commons (5:30-8 p.m.)

    Oct. 30/Wednesday - PSAT (free for all sophomores; about $20 for juniors) More details coming in late September

    Nov. 8/Friday - Free application day for Shorecrest seniors at University of Washington Bothell. See Ms. Monson for field trip form.

    March 9, 2020/Monday - Free campus tours field trip for Shorecrest seniors to Shoreline and Edmonds community colleges. Parent permissions forms available Feb. 24 in College & Career Center. Participants must apply to one or both colleges before event to be eligible. Print out a copy of your application screenshot for eligibility AND your High School and Beyond Plan.
