Mr. Keith Lindahl

Hello Parents and Guardians,

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself, as I know you may be curious about your student’s new teacher.  The first and most important thing you should know about me, is that I am absolutely thrilled to be teaching in such a wonderful school with so many amazing students.  The second thing that I want you to know is that my door is always open. Feel free to call, e-mail or stop-by to say hello anytime. Below I have included some other facts about me that might interest you.

I recently completed my Masters in Teaching at Seattle University.  I spent last winter teaching 5thGrade in Echo Lake Elementary as a student teacher, and I have been working as a substitute in the Shoreline School District since. Previous to starting my Masters program, I spent over three years teaching English in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil as well as an additional year teaching English in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  I speak Spanish and Portuguese.

I hold a business degree from the UW. Previous work experience includes a swim instructor for youth for the city of Seattle, a college tutor for managerial accounting and statistics, and a sales trainer for a local business. When I noticed a trend towards teaching in these previous careers, I followed my heart into my current profession.

I am an avid soccer player, skier and snowboarder. I love writing, reading current events, doing crosswords, hiking, traveling and learning about different languages and culture. I want to reiterate how excited I am to be a part of the Ridgecrest Family. Please do not hesitate to contact me with concerns. I am looking forward to having a great year and getting to know each and everyone of you.
