I am originally from Seattle, Washington. I graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in English and from Western Governors University with a M.A. Teaching, Elementary Education.

This is my fifth year at Echo Lake and first year in my new role as teacher. Previous to this, I worked as a paraeducator in grades K-6 teaching math and reading intervention groups. I am married, have a daughter at Shorecrest High School, and one crazy chihuahua named Dudley. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, crafting, and spending time with my family.
