Preschool Registration: 2018-2019
In 2018/2019, all early learning classes will all be multi-age (3’s and 4’s) and inclusive with a mix of children and staff from Shoreline School District’s three Early Learning Programs: Children’s Center, Head Start and Early Childhood (Special Education). The new food program will include a snack for half-day programs, and two snacks and a lunch for full day programs. All classes will use two research-based curriculums: Creative Curriculum, a comprehensive curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning through hands-on, project-based investigations, and Second Step, a social emotional learning program that prepares children for kindergarten through an intentional focus on building self-regulation and friendship skills.
