Tom Doggett

Hello! My name is Tom Doggett, and I'm the counselor here at LFP. Around here, I go by Mr. Tom. I have worked with at-risk populations of kids for most of my adult life. I feel that it is my calling to support kids who haven't had a lot of support in their lives, and in particular to help them have positive experiences at school.

I was drawn to elementary school because younger kids are in need of foundational tools for coping with stress and gaining social-emotional competency. 

In my free time, I love to hike. When it is rainy out, I'll still sometimes hike, but more often I'll stay in and enjoy one of the following indoor activities: reading, writing, cooking, listening to music (rap music in particular). 

Life is good - even when it leaves things to be desired!
