Mrs. Norton

I am so happy to be a Meridian Park Cheetah!  I am originally from Utah.  I came to the University of Washington to get my MA in East European and Soviet History.  I met my husband Derek and we decided to settle down in Shoreline (where he is from. He coaches wrestling at Einstein & Shorewood).  

Before I had my kids I taught at Mountlake Terrace High School for 3 years.  Then I turned my focus to a career in fitness and raising my 3 kids.  I came back to teaching in the spring of 2017 as many of your Highly Capable Kindergarten teacher.  I spent the last 4 years teaching 5th grade.  I love it! 

I love exercise, cooking, cleaning, reading (mostly audiobooks these days), and spending time outside.  I have 1 Shorewood T-bird, 1 Einstein Tiger and 1 MP Cheetah in the family. 

I’m so excited to be teaching Highly Capable 5th grade this year!
