I am thrilled to be in the Echo Lake Community! I have been a part of Shoreline for over 30 years and have most recently taught second grade. I have been a Reading Specialist for the District and have taught 2nd-5th grades over the years.

 

My motto in my classroom and in my own life is always "Are you doing your best?" I look forward to doing my best in Room 50 and to help kids get the best out of themselves. I enjoy jogging, going to movies and spending time with my adult children. 

 

I grew up in Pasco, WA and moved to Seattle to attend the University of WA where I got an English degree and an Elementary Education minor and soon after, my MA degree. I also swam there for four years and have been able to share my love of the sport with Shorewood High School, having been a Girls' Swim coach there since 1989. So, go Huskies and Stormrays!
