Mrs. Collins

Welcome to 3rd grade in Room 20! I am Mrs. Collins, and I love teaching and learning, being a mom to my two girls, Kaitlyn (8th grade) and Austen (7th grade), running, traveling, naps, and reading. I attended Lake Forest Park Elementary from Kindergarten through sixth grade, and I remember each one of my teachers well. I decided that I wanted to be a teacher when I was in first grade with Mrs. Renstrom. 

I live in the community with my husband, Jeff, two daughters, and our dog, Sulley. Did I mention that I love chickens? We used to have them in our backyard, but had to give them away when we moved. My grandparents always had a flock roaming around their yard in LFP, where I spent a lot of time as a child. You may even be able to spot a few chickens in Room 20!

I love LFP Elementary and feel so lucky to be a part of this community. I am excited for another amazing school year!
