Hello!

This year I am joining the 3rd grade team at Echo Lake, in Room 16. I am excited for a year of taking chances, making mistakes (learning,) and trying new things. As a community we will stick our necks out to make a difference in our school community and world!

I have taught preschool, first grade, second grade,  fifth grade and now third grade. It was my favorite grade as a student!  I received my degree in Social Work from the University of Washington and Elementary Education from Western Washington University. This will be my 18th year at Echo Lake on staff, but started here as a parent!

I am the proud mother of Kia and Andrew. It seems like they were Echo Lake students just a short time ago! I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and pets. You may see me walking my collies around the neighborhood! My favorite places are the beach and on roller coasters! I like to read and laugh.
