  • Health Curriculum Night on October 16

    Join us for our District Health Curriculum Night on October 16, 2018 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Shoreline Room, Shoreline Center, 18560 1st Ave. NE.

  • Early Release Wednesdays

    Beginning on September 12 there will be a 100-minute early release on Wednesdays when there are five days of school in the week. There will not be early release during weeks when there are not five days of school, such as weeks with holidays or other non-student days.

  • Elementary Conference Days Have Been Set

    Elementary (K-6) parent/teacher conference dates have been tentatively agreed to. Conference days will be half-day releases days for grades K-6 on October 9, 11 and 12; and on March 4, 5, 7 and 8.

  • Attendance is the Key to Success

    Numerous studies have shown that good attendance is essential to academic success. Shoreline Public Schools is joining a nationwide effort to raise awareness about the value of regular school attendance and focus on reducing chronic absenteeism in the new school year.

  • Meridian Park Students Save and Collect Over 2,500 lbs of Food for Local Food Bank

    A small group of students at Meridian Park Elementary showed you don’t have to be big in numbers to be big in impact. The group of 6th graders and one supportive family helped save over 2,500 pounds of packaged and unused food, milk and juice from being thrown away in their cafeteria this past school year and donated it to Hopelink’s food bank program.

  • Echo Lake Robotics Club Ranks High in International Competition

    When Echo Lake Elementary 4th grade teacher Shari Wennik started an after-school robotics and coding club this year, she probably didn’t imagine they would place in the top two percent of teams competing in a global robotics competition, but that is exactly what they did.

  • Shorecrest Students Receive Honors at BioExpo

    Thirty-four Shorecrest High School students participated in the 18th Annual Northwest Association of Biomedical Research (NWABR) Student Bio Expo on May 18 at Shoreline Community College.

  • OSPI: Washington Schools Safe for Students Who Are Undocumented

    The State Superintendent of Public Instruction has released a statement in response to comments made by U.S. Secretary of of Education that implied schools could share student immigration status with authorities, which is untrue. Washington schools do not collect or share immigration status information.

  • Early Learning Center Construction News

    We'll be moving to our brand new home this winter! Shoreline Public Schools is currently constructing a new Early Learning Center to house our Preschool, Head Start and Early Childhood Education programs. We'll move from our current site at North City for a short layover at the Shoreline Center before we move into the new Early Learning Center this winter.   • Summer Registration

    Registration for all upcoming programs, Summer 2018, Preschool, and Extended Care for the 2018-19 school year will take place at the North City Office, 816 NE 190th St, Shoreline, 98155 between 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. For timelines and more information, click HERE.
