Week 8 Foot Dribbling: October 19-23
During this week students are focused on the skill of foot dribbling using the 4 main dribbling surfaces: inside, outside, top and bottom of their feet.
Week 7 Fitness: October 12-16
Students are working on cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular endurance and strength and flexibility.
Week 6 Fitness and Movement: October 5-9
Students are working on cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular endurance and strength and flexibility.
Week 5 Catching: September 28 - October 2
Students are focused on an Catching. Working on the three cues for Catching: 1. Track the object with your eyes 2. Put your hands in the objects path 3. Cushion and squeeze at the moment of catch.
Week 4 Overhand Catch: September 21-25
Students are focused on an Overhand Throw. Working on the three cues for an Overhand Throw: 1. Side to your target 2. Step with closest foot to target 3. Twist your body and throw.
Week 3 Underhand Catch: September 14-18
Students are focused on an Underhand Throw. Working on the three cues for an Underhand Throw: 1. Face your target 2. Pendulum Arm Swing 3. Release object between waist and knee height.
Week 2 Eye-Hand Coordination and Reaction Time: September 8-11
Students are focusing on eye-hand coordination and reation time. The activities are Bop-It and The Towel/Mask Toss.
