Dot Day 2020
International Dot Day is on or around September 15, 2020, and is a celebration of creativity and courage. In their library lesson this week, students listened to the story The Dot by Peter Reynolds, which is the story of a caring teacher who dares a doubting student to trust in her own abilities by being brave enough to “make her mark”. Students then had the option to create their own version of a dot.
Here are our marks celebrating courage and sharing and self-discovery! These dots were posted in Seesaw by students and are organized by grade level on PDFs. There are a lot of amazing pictures, so be patient as they open, they are worth waiting for!
