  • City of Shoreline Remote Learning Camps **FREE for families who qualify**

    The City of Shoreline is offering weekly Remote Learning Camps this fall for Shoreline Public Schools students in elementary, middle and high school (free for all high school students). The camps are free for those who qualify and also offer payment plans. Camps are following our district's remote learning schedule and include activities during non-learning times.     Grades K-5
    Location: Spartan Recreation Center – 202 NE 185th St. Shoreline
    M,Tu,Th,F – 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
    Wed. – 8:30 am – 2:00 pm

    Grades 6-12 Camp S.L.A.M. 
    (Support for Learning Activities & Movement) is a safe, fun, and enriching camp designed to let your tween or teen get their schoolwork done and engage in some social interaction. Each day offers distance-learning support from staff as well as group sports, games, art, and activities. 

    Middle School S.L.A.M.  (6th-8th grade)
    Location: Richmond Highlands Recreation Center, 16554 Fremont Ave. N.
    Cost: $50.00 per week  or  *FREE to qualifying Shoreline residents

    High School S.L.A.M.  (9th-12th grade)
    Location: Richmond Highlands Recreation Center, 16554 Fremont Ave. N.
    Cost: FREE for all students 9th-12th grade in Shoreline Schools

    YMCA's Y Leap Academy **Scholarships Offered**

    Available to students in grades K-5. Will be offered at North City Elementary School.

    • Families who are returning to the program have priority for registration and will receive more detailed enrollment information today. This online, priority registration will open at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, August 25.
    • Online registration to the community and Shoreline School District staff who were not previously enrolled for the 2020-2021 program will begin at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, August 26.

    • The program offers scholarships and will support Working Connections Child Care (WCCC) subsidy.


    Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council Creative Learning Pod

    The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council is happy to offer this full-day in-person program to support K-5 students and families with remote learning, school-day care, and arts instruction. The Creative Learning Pod is a safe environment for kids to learn, socialize, and do fun and creative arts activities with professional artists. Learning support is available in both English and Spanish!

    • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:25 AM - 4:45 PM (including Early Release Wednesdays!)

    • Cost: $225/week for Arts Council Family-level Members; $250/week for non-members
