    City of Shoreline

    Turning Point Summer Explorers/Summer Science Camp

    Dandylyon Drama

    Drama and performing arts classes offered in Edmonds and Shoreline for kids ages 3 - 18.     Girl Scouts of Western Washington

    King County Library

    The library has many workshops, story times, and activities for kids and adults. You can sign up to receive a monthly newsletter and learn about upcoming events at the library. Also, you can sign your child up for their own library card - it’s free and it will encourage your child to use the library and to check out and read more books. You will need proof of address and date of birth.     Mountlake Terrace Parks and Recreation

    Pacific Science Center

    Offers a “Family Access Membership” to families with limited income and resources. The membership includes two adults and their children ages 3-18 years and the membership is for one year.  No proof of income is required. Families can call to sign up at 206-443-2924 or you can sign up in person at your first visit. The Pacific Science Center is located at 200 Second Ave N, Seattle 98109. More info here

     

    Shoreline Children’s Center - Summer Camps

    Many different summer camps offered for K-6th grade.     Woodland Park Zoo

    Provides limited scholarship opportunities for eligible families towards zoo classes or day camp programs. Scholarship applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. For 2019 summer camps, you are encouraged to apply as soon as possible as they will be reviewing applications approximately every 3 weeks until June 1 or when the majority of available funds have been awarded.      There are also many community and private agencies that provide free one-day passes to the zoo, including Shoreline Head Start, Vision House, North Seattle Family Resource Center, City of Shoreline and many others. You can directly contact the agencies listed on their website to ask about availability of free day passes.
