    The Shorecrest High School Hip Hop Team will be hosting two nights and three shows of local amateur and professional dancing! Dance companies will be representing HIP HOP, K-POP, BELLY DANCING, various CULTURAL DANCES, and more.
    Be our guest for a night as we celebrate the different art forms of Dance! Our last showcase in 2020 was given rave reviews and SOLD OUT each show! You don't want to miss this year's comeback event held at the Shorecrest Performing Arts Center!

    About Us:

    The Shorecrest Hip Hop Dance Team's purpose is to foster expression and inspiration by utilizing dance as their medium. Building camaraderie and community through teamwork, responsibility and dance. 


    Awards Include:

    • District Titles wins from 2004-2019 and 2021
    • State Championship Titles in 2006, 2009, 2010 (2 titles), 2013, 2015-2018, and 2021

    • National Titles in 2010, 2012, 2015, and 2019

    • Academic Excellence Award in 2006 and 2007

    • Former Coach Rex Kinney (2002-2021) was awarded “Coach of the Year” by the WSDDCA in 2011 and inducted into the WSDDCA Hall of Fame in 2017.



    Reaching out to our community, we offer kids hip-hop clubs, camps, and workshops throughout the school year to local schools, community centers, and summer camp programs. The team also performs for various community events. This is MORE than just a dance activity. We give our members hands-on training that builds their experience, life and social skills.
