    Additional Graduation Requirements

    • Washington State History

    The Washington State History requirement is satisfied
    with a passing grade in 7th grade WA State History.
    Students transferring from other districts without
    equivalent coursework must satisfy this requirement
    through equivalent high school coursework.

    • Community Service: 40 Hours
    • Senior Culminating Project

    * For classes of 2017+, the 9th grade Social
    Studies requirement will be a semester (0.5) of World
    History 1.

    ** Students who take and pass the IPS Challenge Test must
    substitute another Lab Science Elective to fulfill the
    graduation requirement in science.

    Directed Studies Students

    Graduation requirements for all Special Education students are determined by the contents of the student’s Individual Education Plan.
