Personally, I am especially excited to begin my second year of teaching first grade within the amazing community of Highland Terrace Elementary! My background began growing up in New Jersey, where I later attended University of Delaware to obtain a BS in elementary and special education. While visiting Portland, OR in 2003, I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and decided to call it home. In between teaching within public and private schools around the Seattle area, I have had opportunities to teach in countries around the world, including China, Nepal, India and Colombia. I am excited to peak curiosities and share stories of travel and adventure with your child as we explore the many wonderful facets of our world together this school year.
