Culinary Arts is a year long “hands on” course designed to introduce and prepare students for employment in the food service industry or further their education in a culinary school. This is a Tech Prep course and students will be able to earn college credit in the class if a B or better is earned. Course curriculum includes sanitation and safety, tools & equipment, knife skills, cooking methods, food identification, food preparation and execution, meal planning, catering and banquet skills. The students will have many opportunities to cater both small and large functions.
