    Hey Shorecrest, don’t miss the opportunity to get an appointment at the Mobile Dental Clinic. It will be here to serve us on Thursday, 2/6 and again on Thursday, 2/27. This is a FREE service regardless of insurance benefits. Get your dental needs taken care of right here! Please contact nurse Carlene for an application soon and secure your appointment.

     

    Hey Scots! Cloud 9 Winter Formal presented by DECA is on February 8, 8-11 PM in the Shorecrest Commons. Tickets are on sale now $10 with ASB, $12 without, $15 at the door. There will be food, games, music and more! It is semi-formal, but there is no pressure to buy new clothes. You're always welcome to come as you are. Guest passes are also available in front of Mrs. Phillips' room 139, and they are due January 30.

     

    SC Serves is coming up and it is time to start assembling your lineup. Team sign up sheets are outside of Ms. Phillips room 139. Teams must sign up by February 16. The tournament is a double-elimination bracket held in the main gym on Wednesday, March 4. Winners get a trophy with their names engraved on it, the opportunity to play against the staff team, and all event proceeds go to the charity of their choice. The top two Shorecrest teams face off against the top Shorewood team in a final tournament. See you there!

     

    Juniors, there is an SAT prep class coming up at SC starting Feb. 25. The class will be Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30-7:15 for two weeks. Register online at www.satprep.org, see your counselor if you need financial assistance.

     

    Hey Scots: Black Voices, a week-long event, is coming up February 3-7. The week will feature a night about Historically Black Colleges & Universities, a celebration of the arts, learning about Teaching for Black Lives, and more. Want to be involved and earn service hours? Come to Ms. Phillips' classroom during Highlander Home on Tuesday, January 28 to meet with Ms. Stone, learn more about it and how to join the team. Stop by Ms. Phillips’ class in 139 to pick up a purple pass.

     

    Hey Shorecrest! Tattoo's Winter Coffeehouse is THIS Friday in the SC Commons at 7pm.The theme this year is Greenhouse. Come support your fellow students, family and peers as they perform, and as celebration for the publication of the magazine! You might just be a published author, artist or photographer, so stop by to get yourself a copy for $10. This is a FREE events with food, music and poetry. See you there!     Save the date!!! The Shorecrest girl's basketball team will play its 1000th game in program history vs Stanwood, on Saturday, February 1 at 7:15pm. This is a big milestone game, and you're gonna want to say, "I was there!" Don't miss it! Student and fan support is so important and appreciated by the team. Thank you!

     

    Help support Shorecrest and Kellogg orchestras by visiting Chipotle on Lake City Way next Wednesday January 29 between 4:00 and 8:00 pm. By mentioning "Shorecrest Orchestra" when you're paying for your order, 33% of the proceeds will go directly to the orchestra! Eat lots and thanks for your support!

     

    ATTENTION SENIORS! Purchase your Senior Spree ticket now for $160 (Prices will increase to $175 on February 15) Senior Spree is an all-night chaperoned, alcohol-free and drug free celebration held the evening of graduation, June 14th, 2020 (9pm-6am). This event is sponsored by the Shorecrest PTSA and Grad Nights to give graduating seniors an opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments with their classmates in a safe and fun environment.
