    Sign up now for the practice SAT on Saturday, January 12, 8:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at SC. Register online through the link on the counseling website or stop by counseling for a flyer. The practice ACT will be Saturday, March 2, 8:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. also at SC. Cost is $15 for one or $25 for both - see your counselor if you need fee assistance.

    The Shorecrest Hip Hop Team's 12th Annual PHYSICAL POETRY show is on January 11-12, 2019 at the Shorecrest Theatre! The event will feature dance companies showcasing hip hop, jazz, traditional Mexican dance, musical theatre, tap, modern, step, and more! Support our team and get your ticket before they sell out! Advance Ticket Sales includes $15 for SC students w/ ASB and Staff, $18 General Public, $20 at the Door.     Homework club continues on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45-4:00 in room 245. Teachers, paraeducators and peer tutors will be onsite and available to help you catch up, get ahead or answer your questions. Transportation will be provided. Buses will depart from the front bus loop at 4:10 and drop off at several convenient locations, including Ballinger home, Polaris apartments, and Brookside, Lake Forest Park, and Ridgecrest Elementary Schools.

     

    Hey Shorecrest, don’t miss the opportunity to get an appointment at the Mobile Dental Clinic. It will be here to serve us on Thursday, 12/20.     Volunteering is almost never sweeter than this: Return any signed community service form with at least 3 hours in the month of December to the College & Career Center – and take away a sweet candy cane treat. Just a reminder: students need 40 hours of community service to graduate. Why wait?


    Looking for the perfect holiday gift? Then what about Coffee & Canvas, or Coffee, Cocoa & Cards. We will have a Coffee & Canvas painting workshop on Saturday, January 19, from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM for only $30. It is open to people high school age and older. Our Valentine's printmaking workshop, Coffee, Cocoa and Cards will be on Saturday, February 2, from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM. Both workshops will be help in T113 in the Fine Arts building. Registration is limited so don’t delay. To reserve your spot turn in your form and check to the ASB window or mail to Shorecrest.     Join us Saturday, February 9 and Saturday, February 16 from 10am-12noon for A CERAMICS MAKER SPACE. The workshop is in the T110 ceramics room in the fine art building. You will create several ceramic pieces with guidance from Mr. van den Bosch over two 2hr sessions. It is open to students, staff and family members high school age and older. Registration is limited so don’t delay. To reserve your spot turn in your form and check to the ASB window or mail to Shorecrest.
