  • EINSTEIN MIDDLE SCHOOL WEDNESDAY, MAY 24, 2017                                        #152

TODAY WE HAVE PERIODS 1, 3, and 5!

MAY IS RESPECT MONTH: “We don’t have to agree on anything to be kind to one another.” Unknown

All Shoreline area students are eligible to submit artwork for the Shoreline Art Festival’s Youth Art Exhibition: held at the Shoreline Center, June 24-25

Work of any media in 2D or 3D will be accepted and artwork for next year’s district calendar will be chosen from all student works that are submitted. Registration is free and can be done on line through the Shoreline Art’s Council’s website. Entries are due June 7 at the Shoreline Center between 4-7 pm. If you miss drop-off, please call the Arts Council at 206-417-4645

Lock out drill coming up- It is very important to remember that this drill is practice for a lock out, which is very different from a lock down.  In a lock out, we are simply practicing locking out a hazard outside the building.  In other words, a hazard that may be occurring in the community around us- not a school intruder.

Shoes and Hats: Guess what folks?  The shoes you wear to school are yours and should stay on your feet.  The hat you bring to school is yours and you stay on your head.  To our students who are thinking it’s funny or a game to take a person’s shoe or hat and run off it with - guess what, it’s not funny and it’s not a game.  Stop it.  Students who continue to try to take part in this immature action will get to join us in detention or have other consequences.  It’s really not that hard, Tigers.  Keep your hands and feet to yourself and stop taking other people’s things.

Any GIRL interested in playing soccer for SW next Fall? You need to get your athletic packet turned in by the end of June. If you need a new physical the forms need to be turned in by June 16. See Mr. Harris if you have any questions.

PIZZA & BOOKS: Meets for the last time today. Go to Hang Time first. If you have not yet put your name on the list, go see Ms. Dame right away!

Associated Student Body Council Elections are coming up! ASB members represent the student body and work together to address Social issues on campus, increase Communication between students, staff, parents and the larger community, Improve the School Atmosphere through the environment and facilities, and view ASB as an Educational Opportunity to grow as leaders. If you would like to run for ASB President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, or Senator, you must attend a mandatory meeting during Pride, Tuesday May 30th in room B-2.

ALL LIBRARY BOOKS ARE DUE JUNE 1ST!  All books must be returned in order to get your yearbooks. If you have lost a book, please come talk to Ms. Dame or Ms. Ching to find out what your options are.
