OCTOBER IS RESPECT MONTH: “To get down to the quick of it, respect motivates me – not success.” Hugh Jackman

Football and Softball busses will depart at 2:45 today!

Disability Awareness: The National Organization on Disability (NOD) reports that more than 54 million Americans have a disability. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 was conceived with the goal of integrating people with disabilities into all aspects of life, including schools.

There are disabilities that we can see and some that we can’t see.  Some examples of ‘invisible’ or hidden disabilities are dyslexia, hearing loss, allergies, anxiety, ADHD, speech impairments, and autism spectrum disorder. Whether or not we can see someone’s disability, we strive to make Einstein a school that welcomes everybody.

Einstein! On 10/18/19 at 10:19, we will PRACTICE for safety in the event of an earthquake by practicing our drop/cover/hold process.  You will hear directions over the intercom that will tell you what to do during the drill and you may have an opportunity to practice in PRIDE as well. We PRACTICE for safety at Einstein so that we can be prepared in case of an actual emergency. It is important that you stay quiet and follow adult directions during the drill. Thank you for practicing for safety by participating in the DRILL on 10/18!

Come join us in P2 every Thursday after school to talk about black culture and other racial topics in society.  Everyone’s welcome!
