Elementary School Boundaries
The map below serves as a general guide and shows the attendance areas for our nine elementary schools. To specifically identify the name and location of the school in your boundary area, please log into E-Link and use E-Link User Name: shorelinefamily and E-Link Password: family2020.
Resident Transfers (In-District)
Please be advised that resident transfers are only considered at the beginning of the school year when the final head count is recorded. If any of the schools are under 95% capacity resident transfers will be considered with siblings of current resident transfers having priority. Resident Transfer Request forms are handled at the building, not district, and are to be submitted directly to the building you wish to attend. Families are encouraged to secure enrollment in their resident school.
Choice Transfer Request (Resident Release)
If your student currently resides in the Shoreline School District, but you would like to apply for entry into a different district, you may do so via the following link https://eds.ospi.k12.wa.us/choicetransferrequest. The request is not official until the other district formally accepts your student. At that time, it will be up to you to register your student at the out of district school.
Choice Transfer Request (Non-Resident)
Grades K-12 are open for consideration to new non-Shoreline residents. Please contact your home district for information or visit this link
The District remains closed to new non-Shoreline resident applications for Headstart and Early Childhood Education.
Students who move out of the District during the school year will be allowed to complete the year unless admission is revoked for the reasons identified in the notice of acceptance.
The District will continue to honor all statutory and contractual obligations relating to non-resident boundary transfer applications for the children of District employees.
