Hello!  My name is Emma Williams
and I am excited to be your 3rd grade teacher!

This is my eighth year teaching 3rd grade, and fourth year at HT. I spent my first 4 years teaching in the Issaquah School District before coming to Shoreline.

I live in North Seattle with my husband Owen (who I met on the swim team at Willamette). We have two little boys, Nathan and Cole, and a little girl Georgia. We also have an adorable schnauzer-poodle pup named Piper. I enjoy visiting my family in California and Oregon, spending time near any body of water, going to the zoo, taking walks around our neighborhood while looking out onto the Puget Sound, and reading books with my sons. I love teaching new concepts to my students, listening to them have engaging discussions, and watching them learn to be respectful, responsible, and kind people.

Third Grade is a BIG year with many changes- it really is the bridge between the primary and intermediate grades. School work and academic concepts are more challenging and students are working towards independence and responsibility. I know that we will have so much fun this year learning and growing together!
