Sunset Elementary school was closed at the end of the 2006-07 school year.
Sunset Elementary, located in the west central portion of the Shoreline School District, has an enrollment of 375 students in grades K-6.
The school’s purpose is to empower every person to reach his or her full potential academically, emotionally and socially by promoting cooperation and independent life-long learning. The school hopes to enable students to live with dignity and respect for themselves and others.
Sunset activities include Broadcast Club in which all fifth graders share in creating weekly school news broadcasts, and Math Olympiad.
