Parkwood Elementary, located in the south central corridor of the Shoreline School District, has an enrollment of 400 students in grades K-6.
Parkwood was extensively remodeled in 1997, adding three new classrooms, a computer lab and a new library reference area.
Besides its regular program, Parkwood offers a program for English language learners (ELL) and a special education “blended” program. This blended program serves first through sixth graders with disabilities from throughout the district and blends them into classrooms with their general educational peers as much as possible.
A family advocate is available to serve students and their families.
