Brookside Elementary, located in the northeastern portion of the Shoreline School District, has an enrollment of 480 students in grades K-6.
The school’s vision is that students will succeed as skilled, knowledgeable, creative, life-long learners and contributors to the world.
Brookside’s mission is to engage all students in learning the academic and vocational skills needed to achieve their individual potential.
Brookside was originally built in 1959 and extensively remodeled eight years ago. The facilities include a family center, a library and a publishing center.
Parents are vital partners at Brookside, with many participating as PTA and classroom volunteers.
