FOOD BANK

  • Location: Shoreline Free Methodist Church: 510 175th Street, Shoreline, WA 98155 (located kitty corner from the Shoreline Library, on the northeast corner of 175th Street and 5th Avenue)
  • Hours: Tuesdays (llam-2pm) and the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month (5:30-6:30pm)

REGISTRATION AND RENEWAL

  • Call (425) 485-6521 to make an appointment to register for food-bank or financial assistance or to renew your food-bank card
  • Walk-in registration and renewals are not available

DOCUMENTATION

  • Unless otherwise stated, the following pieces of documentation will be required at your appointment:

    • Photo identification for every adult in the household. For example: a valid driver's license or passport.
    • Social security card for every person in the household or a birth certificate (if a household member does not have a social security number).
    • Proof of address (an official document that shows both your name and street address). For example: a utility bill or lease. PO Boxes are not acceptable.
    • Proof of household income. For example: a pay stub, an SSI letter for the current year, or a direct deposit record.
  • For the financial assistance, also bring to the appointment an official document that provides proof of the problem:

    • For utility disconnection, bring an "Urgent Notice" or "Shut Off Notice" from the utility company.
    • For eviction prevention, bring an eviction notice.
    • For move-in costs, bring a signed lease or another form of documentation from that landlord that verifies acceptance into the new residence; the documentation must also specify the amount owed for first-month's rent and total move-in cost.
