Bus count week is Sept. 28-Oct. 2

More than 50 percent of the funding for transporting Shoreline School District students comes in the form of an annual allocation from Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).

The District’s allocation is determined by a five-consecutive-day count of the regular services provided to students.   During the data collection period, each time a student boards a bus in the morning or during the school day, he or she is counted and the stop location is reported to OSPI.  

This year's count will take place Monday, Sept. 28 through Friday, Oct. 2. Shoreline students are encouraged to ride the bus daily during the count period.   For more information about the bus count period, contact the Shoreline Schools transportation department at 361-4275.
