    Registration for 2016-17 is now open.
    Registration for School Year 2017-18 is as follows:

    • Extended Day Registration - Begins Wednesday, March 15 for returning families and Thursday March 30th for new families.
    • Sumer Camp Registration - Will be in April, however the date has not yet been set
    • Preshool Registration - Will start in May, the date will be determinded soon.

     

    Office Hours:

    Monday – Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

    Registration Fees:

    New families are subject to a $50.00 registration fee. This is a one-time fee for new enrollees as long as there is continuous enrollment. If re-entry into the program follows a break of more than one year, repayment of the registration fee may apply. In order to provide teachers time to be prepared for your child to join the class, registration deadlines are as follows:  If registering before 12:00 noon, there is a 2-day waiting period before starting.  If registering after 12:00 noon, there is a 3-day waiting period before starting.

    Fixed Schedule/Flexible Schedule and Extended Day Programs Registration forms for the September through June program (175 day school year) will be available at the Children’s Center office in the month of March or download below. Summer Program Registration forms will be available beginning in April at the Children’s Center office.

    Tuition Payment Procedure:

    Tuition Payment Procedure Fees are due in the Shoreline School District Accounting office on or before the first of each month prior to child care services. Parents must mail their payments to the Accounting office. Invoices will be mailed by the Shoreline School District’s Business office approximately the 20th of each month with payment due in advance of each month. Checks should be made payable to the SHORELINE SCHOOL DISTRICT and sent to the Shoreline School District, Accounting Department, 18560 – 1st Avenue NE, Shoreline, WA 98155. Please do NOT send payments to your Extended Care site. Keep payment/statement records for tax purposes as calendar year information cannot be furnished. Shoreline Children’s Center I.D. #91-600-1644.

    Delinquent Payment:

    If payment is not made by the first working day of the month, the parent may be asked to remove the child from the Children’s Center.

    NSF:

    $20.00 charge for returned checks.

    Fee Schedule:

    Monthly fees are based on the 175 day school year only (September to June). The yearly fee is divided in nine equal payments (September through May) with no billing in June. Withdraws during the year before June 1 will receive a refund of any fees paid toward the June services.

    Winter/Mid-Winter/Spring Breaks, Inservice Days:

    MONTHLY FEES DO NOT COVER NON-SCHEDULED SCHOOL DAYS SUCH AS WINTER, MID-WINTER, AND SPRING BREAKS, OR NORMAL SCHOOL TIMES ON ALL INSERVICE DAYS.

    Early Release Days:

    There is a $20.00 per day fee for aftercare enrollees at Extended Care sites only.

    Change of Schedule:

    A Change of Schedule can be arranged at the Children’s Center office. A simple dated form stating day/hour of change and a signature is required. When possible, these changes will be granted, however, there will be a $10.00 fee for the third change and any changes thereafter.

    Withdraws:

    A written notice to the Children’s Center office is required at least two weeks in advance of the date you wish to withdraw your child.
